The former NEWEUROPE™ Orlando (NEO) 15 Junior Team was the first basketball team created by NEWEUROPE™ Junior Basketball (NEJB) organization.
 Unfortunately the former coach of this former NEO 15u team Josh Perry decided to take away all but one player from this team after the third tournament the former NEO 15u team ever participated in at (AAU District Tournament at UCF Arena in Orlando) to create his own AAU team called Team Daniels Q6 without the permission from NEJB organization to do so or a release via AAU of the former NEO 15u players by NEJB organization. Apparently Tam Daniels Q6 is sponsored by Marquis Daniels (Boston Celtics Player) Organization. Coach Josh Perry did not bring a single player to the former NEO 15u Team (they already all existed) or registered and paid for registration of any team players or NEWEUROPE Orlando 15u Club with AAU or BOA or paid for any practices, tournaments and team uniforms. Josh Perry was just 5th coach former NEO 15u team had. NEJB, as well as many others who know about this story, are still amazed that a whole team could be hijacked by a coach from an organization like NEJB that put everything behind this former NEO 15u team and covered all of expenses including the ones typically parents of players in other AAU tams controlled by coaches only have to cover. Former NEO 15u team was made of eleven players selected via various Magic Junior Camps and other tryouts. NEO 15u Club was then joined to AAU and YBOA Memberships. The former NEWEUROPE™ Orlando (NEO) 15u team has been created by NEJB in part thanks to Orlando Magic Organization (www.orlandomagic.com) and their Magic Youth Camps, Youth Hoops and Youth League programs under the guidance of Magic Camps Program Supervisor Antonio Perez plus services of coach Jack Lutzeier of The National Basketball Academy (TNBA - www.thebasketballacademy.com) that teaches kids and young players the fundamentals and skills of basketball, plus via some other additional tryouts. Former NEWEUROPE™ Orlando (NEO) 15u junior team was made of 15u players all attending 9th Grade (2009-2010 school season). It was made of players of a diverse ethnic background which is one of the goals of NEJB with its U.S.A. junior teams. NEO had one player of Croatian background, one of Serbian background, one with background from Guayana, two of Latino background and six players of African American background. Former NEWEUROPE™ Orlando 15u team in many ways was the pathfinder for the whole NEJB program and NEJB team creation philosophy and the first NEO 15u team failed in part due to lack of understanding of NEJB philosophy and appreciation of the same by the last coach Josh Perry and some of its players. We look for the dedication towards NEJB Philosophy and individual NEWEUROPE City Team, practices, overall effort, and to combine the talents of various players on a team and give them all opportunity to excel in playing junior basketball. We do not select players just because of their size or physical domination. And we especially like to include those who have limited financial means or come from only one parent family (mom). The players who were part of the original NEWEUROPE 15u Junior Team and their team jerseys numbers and playing positions were: Josh Cruz (8-PG), Jalen Brown (3-PG), Anthony Camacho (7-PG/SG), Kevin Tajram (1-SG/SF), Emanuel Premate (25-SF), Robert Joiner (23-PF), John Brkich (12-PF/C), Lavius Rosemond (32-PF/SF), Joshua Johnson (30-SF), Shaquille Evans (24-SF), and Dexter Moore (5-SF/G) Former NEWEUROPE™ Orlando 15u team played at a total of three 2010 Tournaments: *FBVA-YBOA RAPTORS CHALLENGE – March 26-28, 2010; Orlando, Florida *YBOA Southeast Super Regional Tournament - April 23-25, 2010; Jacksonville, Florida *AAU District Championship – April 30-May 2, 2010; UCF Arena, Orlando, Florida |
